Gun Fun

The weather on Tuesday was BEAUTIFUL for a final shooting trip.  We went to our usual spot up Spanish Fork Canyon with all our milk jugs we filled with colored water (I am SO happy to have those things out of the house) and with Devin's uncle Steven.  This guy is an NRA life member, gun "collector" (he'd probably hate to be called that but I don't know what else to call someone who has 30+ guns), and Devin's go-to man when getting info and celebrating a new buy/sale.  Devin got to try out a new addition to his arsenal - a .22 pistol. He loves it :)  Cheap to shoot and really accurate.   As for me, I have gotten better and better with my own little .22 and am finally hitting targets on my first shot!  Hooray.   Needless to say, it was a successful day in the canyon!

ohANDwegotdeliciouschinesefoodat"The Best Chinese in Provo" - that random place right before you hit Springville from Provo.  We even happened to sit right by the picture of Devin, Abe, and Garrett :)
We'd been wanting to eat there before we move and it was the perfect stop on the way home.  ohANDwesawHungerGamesafterthat.  Couldn't have asked for a better way to end the day!
 (thank you school being over)

  1. Claire congratulations on finishing school--woop woop! We have the harper calendar hanging in our kitchen and I've been counting down the days in my head until your graduation, but I didn't realize you were out before then! How exciting! So glad you get a few days to enjoy Provo without any school over your head before you leave for Boise. I've loved seeing your student teaching pictures--I bet your students had so much fun with you as a teacher. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU NEXT MONTH :D
