BLUE SKY!
...That's what I yell every time it's been cloudy and some blue starts peeking through. And BOY has it been cloudy. Nonstop rain for the past 9 days! So you can imagine my excitement last night when we were driving to the store and the sun started peeking through and BLUE appeared. I was going to be so sad if I never saw any before we left.
-bikes are sold
-boots are worn so thin my feet don't stay dry for a minute
-souvenir shopping complete
-deodorant, soap, conditioner, and disposable razors are just about used up
It's time.
Time to enjoy whatever warm weather Provo has left for us.
Time to come home to NEW carpet and no leaks in our apartment...HOORAY!
Time to enjoy a good thunderstorm
Time to have access to $1 movies again from Redbox
....and I guess it's time to start school and all of that. But mostly we're just excited to see family, friends, and feel the warmth!

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your last few days and your trip home to Provo! Good thing you are not coming home to the East Coast on Sunday - hopefully you will be enjoying sunshine while we are surviving the hurricane. They are saying we should expect to be without power for days (and maybe without cell phone service, if the towers are affected). So don't worry if you don't hear from us. There are other areas that will likely be hit worse than us. Love you!
