San Diego Scenery

Our trip to San Diego resulted in an embarrassingly large amount of pictures but I'm so glad because even looking back now I've forgotten some of the things I just loved about being there. It's easy to forget when you come home to weeks of arctic weather. I haven't even had time to edit these but if I waited for that this post would never happen. So, for now I'll share some of the gorgeous scenery we saw along our trip because it's just not like anything you'll find in Idaho!

The San Diego Safari Park had a tram ride that took us around the plains where the animals were and also provided some really nice views.

Legoland's sculptures were just too cool! So fun to be there at Christmas time to see this tree :)

Torrey Pines beach on a rainy day

Really cool trees at Seaport village and Coronado Bridge (below)

We just could NOT get over the palm trees. So pretty, some incredibly skinny and sky high tall and we passed a palm tree farm a couple times near the Safari Park and they were all so short and fat, so cute.

La Jolla shores had some awesome coves and tide pools that were perfect for the kids

Mission Beach at the golden hour was breathtaking and we were so lucky that the sun even shone on our last day there!
