Tuesday: 14 hour day, starting at 6:30 a.m. and left at 9 p.m.
Wednesday AND Thursday we had to start again at 6:30 a.m....on these mornings I wake up longing for the moment I get to go back to sleep that night!
Well, we finally got to leave work around 4 on Thursday afternoon and knowing we wouldn't have another early morning the next day was glorious. It made cooking and cleaning and showering so much more enjoyable, haha.
I can't believe our moms work 14+ hour days, day after day...and they don't even get TIPPED for doing their job. Except in love, of course :)
So Thursday afternoon I made homemade french fries and grated some more potatoes for hashbrowns in the morning to use up our potatoes. The funniest moment of my day was when Devin (from Idaho) didn't know the difference between twice baked, scalloped, and funeral potatoes. I guess I'll have to start incorporating them more into our diet, which is fine with me because they are SO cheap, versatile, and delicious!
The boys went and played ultimate frisbee while us girls made no-bake cookies and painted our nails. FINALLY a break from call of duty zombies being played by 4 boys in our living room every day. The boys surprised us with some movies that they brought home and we fell asleep watching Little Rascals :) This week is ending WONDERFULLY.
